Nice figs, do you find the skin to get chewy this time of year? I like it 👌

Yes, definitely chewy.  It adds a nice texture. Preto was leathery 😂

HdA. Nice tasting fig, possibly a spot in the top 20.

That's so hot! I was hoping I'd be ripening my first one this season but I'm not sure it's going to happen. Maybe if the warm weather we've been having keeps up.... Fingers crossed.

@"Figology"#21. VDB, Figo Preto, AJH, HDA... What a wonderful one day list. Congratulations on growing so many delicious figs. Each one a photogenic Superstar. You're clearly a very accomplished home Orchard horticulturalist. Just about every day you ripen, photograph, and describe another group of delicious, and desirable figs. I hope you know I admire your accomplishments very much.

Very clean and organized. What is your plan when they get bigger?

Thanks.

These pics were from last year. They have gotten bigger and crowded. I have since donated all the 5 gallon trees because I could barely navigate through the mini jungle. I don't advise anyone to grow like this since it decreases the availability of sunlight for fruit set. I plan to downgrade those 70 containers in the center to around 20 or less.

@"Figology"#21 wow wow wow. Now that is what I call a backyard home Orchard. What a wonderful sight to behold. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to draw the Willy Wonka gold ticket to your Magic Kingdom. I would love to see it in person. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Had an HdA this morning that the skin was chewy and sweet. This variety is still ripening figs, slower than usual due to night temps below 55 but I'll take what I can get in October.

My WM#1 second tree didn't taste as good as it should be. Ponte Tresa, Texas Strawberry and Rockaway Green did great.
I didn't get any WM#1 this year but I did get Malibu Greek Unk. Malibu Greek Unk. is probably WM#1 and wasn't good this year, much like the 3 AJH trees I have, one in ground.

I've waited 3 years for Ponte Tresa, not even 1 fig so far.
