According to many the origin of Panachée is unclear. Condit says its origin "has not been learned". The name at least is French rather than Spanish. Some of the synonyms in this list are also very strange. Albacor for instance is about as different from Panachée as a fig can be.

Are you able to grow in full sun with the variegation? I remember seeing an OTBP video on his tree last year, just forget if Bill mentioned full sun tolerance.

Rigato del Gargano. This is the same as the "Rigato del Salento AN Agroturismo Nardini" in Mike's original list. Rigato del Gargano is a better name, especially as the Nardini property is not in Salento. Unlike the well-known RdS PB, this variety does not produce brebas, and the pulp is red. What about some obvious, but not as pronounced striping CDD Mutante, LSU Tiger.

I was considering all these to be Rimada or panache type striping. I think variation in the skin darkening based on environment to me wouldn’t qualify as striped figs but that’s my two cents lol

Gets pretty humid where Lorusso is. Maybe not LA level, but humid. Have you tried any of the Oro’s?

Not yet. But just up-potted Jesus/ORO Bianco and his Florinda #2

RDS in a pot may be your best bet.
