The wasps did much less damage tonight due to the hanging traps.... I got a good haul tonight I thought they'd be more washed out given lots of rain but most of them were pretty good. Especially these.
Val Rosso is a good, early producer up here. The eye was a bit open but really good.

Nice beefy LSU Gold. Still among my favourites in this flavour profile. The caramel really comes through.

There were a couple of yellowjackets going after this WM#1 but they had to fight me for it. I had to cut a bit away but pretty stellar

Wow!  Those look great!  I love the interior color of the WM#1.  Although the color on that LSU Gold is pretty awesome too.  I haven't heard of Val Rosso...I think I need to check into it.

Nice Joe, I cannot grow figs that big.
They tend to split open here.

It was a find from Pino years ago. Good fig. Quite reliable. I'm pretty sure there are some floating around in the US in the north east.
