There are so many reasons to start to learn how to graft and this is one of them. Space consolidation.

Well im also an ask for forgiveness person but at this point in my life she doesnt question the madness she just goes along with it. Probably the more time i spend on figs the less im harassing her 🤣. Plus my daughters both love them so the more trees i have the more they get. My kids are getting older the basement is unused so it doesnt interfere with anything and besides my dog noone uses my yard besides me now.

lol I interrupt my wife’s gaming to tell her stuff about figs, so she gets annoyed.

That's normal - usually takes 4-6 weeks to see roots. Make sure to keep your temps between 74-78F for best results (70-80 is the critical range). And it takes on average 90 days before up potting - so don't panic yet! LOL :LOL:

I just found a video on the Nichadam Haven today. It sounds like a winner due to winter hardiness, closed eye, and no spoilage. I hope this grows well for you and you will give us updates on how it performs.

Was it a one of A-fig's videos? I think she has a video of Nichadam Haven but I have not watched it yet.
