Small study on pollen storage

I wonder how these chemical's will effect the fig? They may not harm the offspring of the fig. But are figs pollinated with pollen that has been dipped in such chemicals safe for us? This is not something I have looked into. I guess something I need to research. For now. Dry pollen in a small ziploc type bag should work for shorter periods.

I’m not liking some of the solvents for anything I’d plan to eat. Maybe for breeding like you said. Freeze drying seems to be a very good option….. now, who do we know that has a freeze dryer? 🤔

I was reading on my phone so a bit hard to read. Did they give viability time for only vacuum seal?

It would be nice if there was a suitable non-chemical solvent...
That way, I could carry pollen to Japan.
For now, I have no choice but to carry Caprifig fruit.
