Small end of season Black Tuscan

Black Tuscan was one of the one I lost to a hurricane. Would you say it's another black maderia or something different? It sure looks like a black maderia.

Do you think you’re better than us? - cutting the fig like that !?

Jk 😂

Looks good

@"Figology"#21   Okay Mr. I have wasps and I don't freeze and I hunt fig trees :D
Actually if you look at pic 3 you can see on the right side there is a rough edge, that was a split.
I smushed it in my hand when bringing stuff in the house, so I just figured I would cut at the split. lol
Next one I cut the "correct" way just for you :P

Tearing up figs is just uncivilized lol 😆  j/k

This one is worth a headstart Kevin. Mine is 5 years old and ripens fruit without a headstart in October so I'm thinking with a headstart you should be able to get fruit by September.

Well it was hit by some die back during winter, so I'm wondering if I protect it a bit better it should be able to ripen some by September.
I will try to remember to document it's progress waking up in spring.
Last year I got rid of all BM types except this one and a small Cravens, but that one was stunted seriously for some reason.
So it will probably go to.

They take a few years to get established but if you give them time you will be rewarded.

Yea I'll keep this one around.
Year 2 for it.
Well really 1 1/2....lol
It's good enough already to keep around.
I guess maybe that's why I've kept my CddB.
Not big on late figs but these are some good ones.
