On the news last night yesterday the groundhog he saw his shadow predicting 6 more weeks of winter. It’s so silly, spring begins March 21 shadow or not. 🤣

On a better note, I will go ahead and turn on the heater in a few days inside the grow room. It will take a couple of weeks to force the trees out of dormancy, before switching the lights on.

Sheesh it was 75 here yesterday, making it very difficult for people like us. lol
I know we typically have had surprise frosts as late as April.
Oh the wait!
Been in the high 70s here as well, even hit 80 this week in phoenix, im getting excited!

Today is supposed to be a near 80 day, but after this we hit a small cool down into the mid 60's with mid 40's at night and a week of rain.
I need to take advantage of the nice day and get some stuff done outside!

We feel for you people down south. Never a dull day in & around Boston, MA.
I didn’t do the math, but getting just over 3 feet of snow by next Sunday. Fig trees love it and will be empowered to come back with a vengeance… if they ever do.

Winter schminter, we have dragon fruit pushing out buds over here! Something is definitely off, maybe the solar maximum is waking some things up early.(_)Some of the fig trees are pushing out leaves AND fruit! And not just the Caprifigs this time!
