Pretty exciting considering the amount of time along with the size of the cutting, congrats!
I’ve started tomprat with single node cuttings as well, but have a few weeks to go still, just potted them yesterday.
I don’t think it really matters. I typically will do single noders at about a 30-45 degree angle with the bud facing upwards.I’ve done them horizontal, and vertical as well.Did you plant the single nodes vertically or horizontally? Do you think it matters?
It’s just plastic wrap wrapped around itself. The 4 cell tray is the air pruning one from Bootstrap farmer.Looks like a good experiment!
How are you sealing the plastic on the tv dinner plastic part?
Job well done. I am looking forward to the success of your single node fig cuttings. Experience is the best. Was trying to think of a way to mimic a fig pop or tree pop for single nodes. because I hate fungus gnats and I hate watering. Each cell is 2.4”x2.4”x4”. So far so good.

Nice job.Nice. I have one going right now, started 3 wks ago. The vertical one started leafing out but no visible roots yet, the horizontal started with roots and the leaf is starting to show now.
Looking forward to the update.Pretty exciting considering the amount of time along with the size of the cutting, congrats!
