I don’t think that even made sense…

This thing had been hanging for days and it wasn’t getting any softer. I couldn’t take it anymore so I picked it. It still seems like it could use another day but wow! I have never tasted a fig like this before. I sliced it into a few pieces so my wife and son could try as well. We looked at each other and said the same thing, I swear it tastes of banana popsicle. Quite sweet too! 

The down side is this is a 3rd year tree and I’m only getting a handful. It was good enough that I plan to keep it and give it the 5 star treatment next season

Looks and sounds very good. Is it just me. Or are the best tasting figs less productive. And very needy? Hopefully as they age. They will produce more and be less needy.

Very few things do in this world. Is there an interesting backstory on this variety that you guys might want to share with us? I went back to 2016 when @"TorontoJoe"#1 started wishing for a cutting, but I couldn't get an origin story. Is it another California find??
