No doubt we are all aware of the fact that caprifigs have short styles, and commons have long styles, but there a couple of things that still amaze me. Firstly, the picture that sites like Waynes World etc. show is far from correct, and I guess they think that close enough is fine, but it fails badly, and that is pretty much the same for all fig sites in some way, they spread misinformation like there is no tomorrow, and they all fall for it. Has anyone ever seen an immature fig, with long or short styles where the top of the style ends in a single point like these sites show, I have not?
All that aside, as stupidity and ignorance seem to rule these days, I have read, but not confirmed yet...but I will, that although Smyrna and Common fig styles look very similar, there is a difference, yet this difference seems to go unexplained in ell information I have read. If this is true, I am thinking that a San Pedro may be a little different also, but we will see.
