Wow! I grew seedlings from a dried fig from the middle east many years ago. It had the same cool, serrated leaves. I'll see if I can find the pics. It;s been so long. I met with an expat in a parking lot here in toronto.

How old are these seedling figs, and have you ever gotten a fig fruit from them? Congratulations for growing such a lovely batch of seedlings.
These are two years old. But I have seedlings anywhere from just sprouting to around three years old. Hopefully these two will produce next year. Can’t wait to see what they turn out to be.
@"ktrain"#2 Since it is illegal to import figs. If you want figs from certain areas. You must grow them from seed. The greek ones where just to see if they would sprout and for fun. But some of them I would grow just for looks.
