Ruby #4

This is the first year to really access Ruby #4. It is a fairly rare fig. Based on info from Figs 4 Fun, it was found by Ruby Law. in an abandoned orchard in Etiwanda, CA. It has produced a very good crop of brebas this spring. So far the figs have been moderately sweet and very juicy. Hoping for more sweetness as the season progresses. Here are 3 figs from today plus a pic of the tree production.

Those look very good. The area where Ruby found it was it in wasp territory? If not are they Smyrna or common?

There are a lot of main crop figs developing. I'll report back later if it is common or San Pedro.
