Is anyone here experienced with rooting rose cuttings?
June bugs love roses here too:-(The June bugs/Asian beetles attack them with prejudice.
Yep...they will hit those and grapes here before touching anything else.June bugs love roses here too:-(
For the hardwood cuttings. I assume the newest lignified stems are best?Roses root easily with intermittent mist propagation using softwood cuttings in mid to late spring or hardwood cuttings in fall. I use rooting hormones and a well drained bark soil keeping temperatures around 70-80F.
Not only were the bugs relentless but the deer loved the blossoms and leaves also.Wow Teresa that is beautiful, might have to look that one up.
The Julian Childs is a smaller yellow rose, omg it smells so good.
