Thank you for your suggestion!transplant them, but just use some of the same dirt--maybe they might go on strike and not grow for a season--just leave them. They all grow bigger after a few years.

I stopped to plant potatoes, sunflower, cucumbers and zucchini for similar reason. Animals or bugs destroy them.Nice job guys!! I gave up on the raised beds and just went back to regular garden beds after my raised beds rotted away--last year I had a terrible vole problem though--they devastated my potatoes.

You have to be careful with alligators back there in that water?? The wife wanted to move to Florida once we retire, and I'm like I don't want to live anyplace that my dogs can get eaten. I also told her, hey I don't think you can handle the humidity then she punched me in the eye--joking. But actually the other day I ate so much garlic she started yelling at me that i stink, and told me to go sleep downstairs, then she (accidentally) punched me in the eye, when I yelled...she was like Did that hurt? I said yes...she then said "GOOD" lol.I hear ya, backs are the first thing to stop you from doing these activities. lol
Here are the beds I built years ago, they are a shadow of this now.

I heard that it’s highly unlikely! BUT I can tell you from personal experience I transplanted about 20 bulbs of garlic while they were breaking dormancy and had about 6-8 inches of growth above soil. I transplanted them into another bed and they seemed to do fine although the bulbs were smaller when harvested so maybe it got stuntedAnybody knows can I transplant? I just checked my over wintered garlic (planted hardneck garlic last October and November )they look great, but I need get rid of the broken bed, they maybe not happy to transplant to new home.
I have considered going with a few of these, I'm in negotiations with my wife to make the purchase.Wish I had the time and materials to build my own garden beds haha those look so much nicer!
I ended up buying galvanized garden beds a few years back and they’re holding strong still. Never going back to in-ground planting veggies againView attachment 4899View attachment 4900
Yeah definitely go with galvanized, it’s the only way to go honestly. My beds are from Vego Garden, they were a bit pricey to be honest but they’ve held up for the last 2-3 years and look brand new still. I had some cheaper ones that weren’t galvanized and they bowed / didn’t hold up.I have considered going with a few of these, I'm in negotiations with my wife to make the purchase.
These really look nice and should last forever, right? There was 40% off last black Friday, but I didn’t get approved by the money maker/handler then, got to listen to the boss. Somehow he finally realized how bad my current beds are and all in sudden he decided to build me new beds. He approved 4 at beginning then finally got 5 after I bothered/ begging too muchWish I had the time and materials to build my own garden beds haha those look so much nicer!

Yeah yours look nice, I always preferred the rustic / wood look compared to metal haha it fits the whole garden theme perfect honestly. Depending on the lumber used, they should last a while yesThese really look nice and should last forever, right? Wow, it’s so nice of you to offer that. But my husband eventually found out I started more than 100 cuttings in this winter. Cannot hide anything when they grow leaves from sticksJust saw your wish list btw, still looking for all those varieties? I have some of those I can send you for postage![]()
No worries, I did some pruning and I had some extra from trades etc so that’s why I was asking. I wasn’t trying to sell them, would’ve gave them for freeWow, it’s so nice of you to offer that. But my husband eventually found out I started more than 100 cuttings in this winter. Cannot hide anything when they grow leaves from sticks. I will bother you at the end of this year when you do your trimming. That will give me something to do in boring winter, and give me a good reason don’t buy more cuttings for next season.
Thanks again! I will let you know when I either kill my current cuttings or finish all handful tasks and feel need something else to do or till next trim season. No worries, I did some pruning and I had some extra from trades etc so that’s why I was asking. I wasn’t trying to sell them, would’ve gave them for freebut whenever you’re ready send me a message haha
