Raccoons are not as cute as they look

Raccoons can be super aggressive. The last two that I relocated were big males. They were very snarly and tried biting as I lifted the trap. Anyone who intends to trap them should take great caution. The can go from appearing very docile to biting in an instant. You can't let your guard down.

Now that was one dumb kid.  Hope he knows he’s gonna need a series of rabies shots.  If memory serves me well I think they give those in your navel.

Ok I googled it.  They used to give it in the bellybutton but stopped in the 1980’s.  It’s now in the upper arm.

I know there are a lot of cute videos floating around out there, but they are aggressive, wild animals. Even around the traps, I only handle them with heavy gloves and am careful to think about everything I’m doing.

@"Figgerlickinggood"#7 . Teresa another great video thank you so much for sharing it with us . I'm giving you five stars. My those big raccoons sure do look snarly, and dangerous. Teresa please be careful with your kittens. My raccoons certainly are nowhere near that big. Joe please be careful while you're relocating those big beasts. Oh and consider giving them some Kentucky Fried Chicken, and breath mints has bait. Sadly I will soon be having to relocate them myself. We've got them all over here possums, skunks, and raccoons, LOL just not that big. Though I suppose they all look super big to a ripe fig.
