Both look great. Is the I-258 from your inground tree?

Yes, sir it is!

I actually don't have one in a container.... I keep making them to grow in a pot as well but people keep showing up at my house and asking for them... LoL! It's difficult for me to say no to someone who wants a fig tree.

Two of the best, I would take quality over quantity every day... How was the Angelito compared to other adriatics?

Angelito is at the top of the Adriatic list. Right there with WM#1. Truly outstanding fig.

Wow!  Those both look great.  The interior color of that Angelito looks amazing!

It is and it's truly stellar... but I think I-258 is still king for me...

It's so a matter of personal taste

I'm hopefully going to taste my first Siblawi tomorrow... it's been on the tree swelled for ages and hasn't seemed ready... I'm hoping one more night will do it... the raccoons are circling

@"TorontoJoe"#1 . I gave you a five-star rating , and yet another ((Like)) Even though I am convinced you reserved the ability to give yourself endless likes on this platform . That has to be one of the most beautiful figs I have ever seen... For some reason Joe you seem to have some of the best phenotype. You're exquisito is the most productive, and exciting example of that variety. Now you're i-258 should be the centerfold of fig p*** magazine. Another amazing phenotype. Perhaps it's in the water, maybe it's something else. But there are definitely Angels blessing your garden. Any chance we could get fruiting pictures of your Angelito tree, your i-258, and you're fabulous exquisito. All amazing trees.

Good to know with your I-258.  And I hope you Siblawi ripens for you, so you can try it (and that the raccoons leave it alone).

For adriatics, I really like Battaglia Green.  You don't seem to hear much about this one anymore, but I love the flavor and it produces a lot of figs too!

Yeah… Yeah… For me many trees seem to cycle. They’ll do well for a couple of years and another year. I just won’t get much out of them.

This year is going to be a light harvest for me all around. Even the big I-258 that’s loaded with fruit is not going to ripen nearly as much as usual. I think I shared before… I had surgery on my hand earlier in the spring. I’m completely recovered, but it was right during period where I should’ve been getting my trees out early. I couldn’t move much or set up my, temporary greenhouses. Next spring will be a different story. 🙂
