Green Michurinska
Vince #3
Negra De Agde

Plus the Beers Black that I purchased from Lowes a couple of weeks ago we planted the same day. That tree seems to love it in the sun even in the middle of the day when it’s hot. This week coming up we’re getting temperatures in the mid 90s, be interesting to see if it stands tall then too.

I'm too chicken to plant them this far into summer - we are hitting mid '90s already and I'm scared they will fry. Might try again with some in the fall. We have about 32/37 of the ones we planted last fall survive the winter (dead to the ground, even with a bucket over them) and come back this spring.

How are your cuttings doing?

They’re doing good just need a little more time before I can up pot them.

If your Beer's Black from the same source as mine grows like mine, it will be 3 times the size as the others you planted. But mine are in pots and I have a couple of other varieties(WM#1, I258) that are fixing to explode with growth.

I've had leaves droop and some turn almost upside down--the tomato plants do that and I was told they do that so the predator insects, birds have easy access to the bad insects.

This year I've had a lot of lady bugs, even seen the nymphs in my fruit tree's--good sign

I think they look amazing. I think the shade cloth is a good idea where you are. Let the roots establish.

So glad to see Vince3 in the ground there. I dropped mine in the ground a few weeks back as you know, and I'm pretty excited!
Here’s the 3 trees covered with the shade cloth. Also my Constantine De Algerie that I rooted old Italian man way back in December.IMG_2484.jpegIMG_2482.jpeg

Looks good, wondeing with your huge yard do you have drip line 💧 or you get enough rain to do the job? I wish we get 1% of the rains you guys get 😀
No drip line. Actually our property is a total of .25 acre, which is less than that from the back of the house to the back fence. We hand water early in the morning with hose and water cans. My other house had a big yard, 1.33acres
