Persimmon tree

My persimmon tree that is 1/2 girdled dropped the fruit flowers that it produced but is doing good. I noticed the other day the buds that didn't leaf out are now doing so. If these produce flowers and fruit will they have time to ripen?

I have never grown them, couldn't say.
Looks like it wants to though.

I doubt it has time for fruit but it’s wanting to live and grow.
