November 18 late honey fig

So today I went fig hunting and found ripe figs on a fig I found with no fruit earlier this year. This fig is small but taste like a spoon full of honey wow almost seedless and a cool looking skin, red to black coloring . I will keep you updated on this variety  of you guys want lmk.

Reminds me of Zaffiro a bit…

the taste was honey no melon flavor was really pleasant to eat and zaffiro is a black with honey inside also I haven’t tasted this variety yet but soon

Sounds very interesting! I’m looking for good tasting honey figs without melon flavors. Let me know if you would ever like to trade if you think it to be a worthy variety to have.

This is an absolutely gorgeous fig to look at. The contrast between skin and pulp is striking! 

I really hope this one turns out to be parthenocarpic

Thank you figless your a great man , but blue Malibu is a legend , im just chato from Sacramento that loves figs lol but Iam taking over the delta I have so many more finds to share with yall ! The delta has hundreds of seedling figs so exciting

This should be the main crop. Late in the year for breba. It could be what some call the bonus crop. Which is an extra main crop. Either way. Good find.

Yes that’s what I meant the 3rd crop sometimes it can look different than the main main but we gonna find out next year .
