Anyone try this product on fungus gnats ? Did it work?
I think as long as I saw gnats I was doing it every two weeks, but some use it at every watering.@ktrain @superdave336 @TorontoJoe. Thanks for your input. Definitely not going to use it. Any way how long between doses of gnatrol before I give the next dose?
When I saw the gnats on Saturday I mixed up my 2gal water can with gnatrol. I gave it the full dose. 2 tablespoons in the 2 gallon can. I drenched the 20 gallon grow bag with the entire 2 gallons of it. The very next day (yesterday) I checked it and to my surprise there was still very many gnats walking around on top of the soil and if I banged on it or blow across the surface of the soil they would all fly around and land back down to the surface. I was shocked they were still there alive and kicking. So that being said should I still wait 2weeks or dose them again tomorrow? I’m afraid if I give it again tomorrow the tree will be so saturated it will rot out and die for sure.I think as long as I saw gnats I was doing it every two weeks, but some use it at every watering.
It's not suppose to harm the tree.
It soaks into the soil and kills the larva, may not do too much to the gnats them selves. When I saw the gnats on Saturday I mixed up my 2gal water can with gnatrol.
