Need advice / help with raspberries!

This is my third year growing raspberries, I usually have them set in a large container or in ground. I’m used to growing Heritage but I’m trying a new variety (Glencoe) that’s thornless!

How would you all trellis this? 😅 I’m struggling with finding a proper trellis for it and keeping the center open for airflow

You know I'm in the same boat right now, I have Ponca black berries and (I forget variety) Raspberries in pots and try to figure out how I want to do this....I think I'm going to google berry trellis and look at the pics it generate....need ideas. :)
I have Navaho blackberry in a 10 gallon and I have never needed to trellis is. The canes are so thick and sturdy that they bear fruit and never hang down.

I have other brambles in ground and I usually just do a small Florida weave trellis with T-posts but this is my first time needing to trellis in a container haha no clue myself I just did a makeshift one for now to keep leaves off the soil 😅

Can you bind a piece(s) of bamboo or similar horizontal to the current stakes and train the raspberry up the vertical(s) then over to the horizontal(s)? Never grew raspberries, so don’t know their growth habit.

Hmmm I could probably try that, wouldn’t hurt haha. I see what you’re saying though, it’s similar to those tomato tower trellises ?

I love my Texas Tomato Cages. Big, sturdy, extendable to 8 feet, and nice to look at. I live in a windy area, and we've had some very strong winds, and these held up very well.

@Figgin' A Never heard of such but they look like awesome cages. I have about 100 cages left from my grandfather. They are made from cattle fence and some from concrete reinforcement wire. Pretty sturdy cages. Those almost look like fiberglass.

Yeah, those Texas Tomato Cages are fantastic. They are made from 1/4" thick wire. Look like they last a lifetime or two. I've seen tomatoes cages made from cattle wire, those are really nice too. Cheaper than my TT cages. I considered making them, but considering the work involved and the tools needed to make them look nice, I decided to go with the more expensive but easier and quicker option :) I love them. My garden is small, so I do a lot of vertical gardening, and these cages work really well for that.
