I have a miracle BellaClare Sport story. I participated in my first Harvey cutting sale this winter. Harvey suggested we use a laptop computer rather than our phones. So I bought one from Costco LOL if I didn't like it I could always return it. I tried to get the laptop up and running before the sale I had a day or two to get ready. Unfortunately the laptop came with a windows program called Copilot. This program doesn't seem to get along very well with Harvey's annual sale. By the time I realized I had to ditch the computer and jump on my phone more than an hour had passed. BellaClare Sport was on my short list, and it was long gone by the time I got into the sale. Amazingly the sold out BellaClare Sport category reappeared after a couple hours. I was able to buy two cuttings that I probably was extremely lucky to get. Since that category disappeared in the first couple of minutes of the sale. So that's a miracle number one. Miracle number two was due to my being very handicapped. My propagation table was very long, and wide. It fit 120 plus cuttings. The back row was just about impossible for me to get to. My big clumsy elbow bumped into one of my two BS cuttings, knocking off it's only branch. I was heartbroken. The Branch was as big around as a dime. The broken off piece of branch was only about 1/8 inch long, and wide. Impossibly small. I took one of my propagation cups put the tiny tiny bit of branch into the cup with some soil and slaped the lid on top of it. The whole cutting was under the lid and so tiny I never thought it would make it. Sadly the cutting never recovered that lost its branch, and it died. The other cutting did quite well. It's now got lots of figs, and is pinched off. After a month the little bit of branch begin to grow slightly, under its cup lid. I began to have enough hope to snap a few pictures which I will post. At that time it's leaves were about as wide as a nickel. Then as big as a but never any roots. little thing keeps growing it's small leaves inside the cup. When I up potted my winter survivors into 5 gallon pots, it was still far too small to take out of its 20 oz cup, with the lid still on it. It didn't do anything for another couple months. Eventually I took a chance and sprinkled some Extreme Myco around it's tiny leaves. The Myco woke her up, and we began to see a few feeder roots. Anyway this young lady made it. She's now about 20 in tall. The last three pictures I will post is of her yesterday afternoon. My little BellaClare Sport in a cup now out of the pity corner, and into the sunlight.
