My first greenhouse fig of the year....

.....is a Thermalito. It was very sweet. Thin skin, mild berry flavor. Mild to moderate seed crunch. Despite honey dripping out, it had a slight grassiness to it, but I'll chalk that up to it being a 1st year in pot tree.

I found all of my figs that ripened in the tent in May had an unpleasant grassy aftertaste. The ones that ripened outside exposed to the Sun and the elements didn’t have that.
