All of my dormant trees are waking up. I think it is a bit early here in 6b/7a, as we often get cold spells through April. Anyways, it seems earlier than last year. I guess I will be doing the container shuffle, inside to outside, ahead of schedule.

Pretty much the same time for me every year though.

I put my figs outside last week of February, gulf coast is warm already.

Every fruit plant has awakened here! All in full bloom except the blackberry vines. So much anxiety - we have so many late freezes. Going to be busy the next 5-6 weeks! Tarping/untarping the peach (2) and plum (2) trees (thank the Lord someone posted a fruit tree pvc/u-post frame for fruit trees which makes that easier) and blueberry bushes (7), shuffling the figs in and out, plus keeping the fig cuttings moving along the assembly line! It’s the same feeling one has right before jumping off the start line for a downhill ski competition! Exciting, thrilling, and terrifying at the same time!
