Mole-pocalypse!

I did the flare and leaf blower last year and can’t say if it worked - like you, I was able to find all the other points of entry to the tunnels extending into neighbors yard. This year it seems the voles and chipmunks are utilizing same tunnel system. I don’t mind getting rid of the voles, just don’t want to kill the chipmunks - I’m more partial to them for some reason.
They are cuter. Here I can't stand the gray squirrel's. But at night sometimes the small flying squirrel's come around chirping like bats. They I love seeing and hearing. :)

I have a chipmunk living beneath my Ciccio Nero. All Summer he would leave his burrow, scamper across the pavers in front of vegetable garden, run across the deck steps and into the flower bed where he would fill his mouth with bird seed beneath the feeders - like clockwork. I assume he collected and stored enough seeds for the Winter as I haven’t seen him in over a week. Never stole a fig, cherry, blackberry or anything else - he’s OK in my book.

It is nice having some buddies in the garden. Mine are mainly frogs. But I would be cool with the chipmunk as well.

Lol! When I was moving some old pots around that had been sitting awhile, I discovered some toads were using the tunnels. I briefly wondered if they were the ones digging them!

Moles, voles, mice, rats, opossums and most other rodents... I will always promote keeping lots of cats and dogs around if at all possible. There's a reason that so many years ago cats and dogs domesticated humans.... We're a meal ticket.... and they're our early warning system against anything that want's our food... or they eat the things that want to eat our food. Personally, I'm more of a cat person... but either way, it makes sense why we're so in sync with them....

I'm trying to convince my wife that 3 or 4 serval's will take care of our raccoon problem... but I'm not getting any buy-in so far
