When my Michael Grace Mystery first rooted last year it had that many apical buds which slowed its growth severely. I picked them all off except 3. It did better after that. This spring it was the first container tree to wake up. You have 4 nice size figlets. I would keep them and pluck the rest of them off or your tree will continue its slow growth pattern.This is what happens when tree goes through a high stress slow growing cycle and nodes are 1/4" apart.

This winter I had it indoors and it went through major battles with pest on this tree , Scale, Gnats, Spider mites . Pest always seem to be my biggest battle when growing indoors , with no natural predators things can spiral out of control so fast
