Actually, I had the experience of reaching out to him with questions - twice! - even before I bought anything from him.

My questions were about some arcane detail on Bulgaria figs and about overwintering figs in the house, when cold storage is not available. (This was before I discovered you'all on fig forums, with the kind of encyclopedic knowledge that is generously given here!)

Both times, he wrote me back personally and with good, thoughtful answers. I want to share that.
