Late Blanche de Deux Saisons 11/2024

Blanche de Deux Saisons. This is a delicious 2 crop French Adriatic. It looks very popular, but I have yet to taste one. Does it ripen late in the season? Is this variety a keeper for you? Looks to be a pretty good sized fig.

That's a common right?
I believe I had this one but the grim reaper took it from me.

Bully .. 😤
Kevin I need some help on aisle 3 I want to clean up the deleted post on top of the gardening section. I've got a 3000 year old plant I want to start a thread on.

It's not usually this late, but this season I have it near a wall and it doesn't get full sun. I plan to put it in ground once I get some gopher cages.

Hmm… I have this one too, and it is … not exquisite? Mine is on the chopping block, haven’t had any good or noteworthy figs from it.

Yours looks good though. What a difference a zone makes? 🙂

Side note, I'm glad I gave GNAF a chance. It's finally coming around to tasting good. I've had it for 3 years and the previous owner had it for 2 years. BdDS is an excellent fig under the right conditions. It's best under full sun and seems to be a later season fig.
