Kelp Fertilizer

Do you think there is a benefit of kelp over fish fertilizer?
You'd want to use them together for best results and a more complete nutrient profile initially. Kelp is low in npk but it's rich in micronutrients and hormones for root growth, stress resistance, where fish fertilizer is good for nitrogen burst early on in the season.

Last year, I bought powdered seaweed. I make my own solution by adding about 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.

The instructions indicated to mix one scoop per gallon but the package did not contain a scoop.

OK.... that's an abstract instruction... please tell me it at least indicated the volume of said scoop?

Looking again.... 0.5-0-0.5

That's about as low strength as it comes. Is it heavy in micros? I'm just thinking it might not be an ideal, primary fert for a substantial amount of plants. Is it intended to use as a supplement?

I use 8tbsp/gallon to make a tea from a bag of ground Kelp meal, marinate for a week or two, Drain it and I mix it with fish 5.1.1 when watering.
My primary use is for the 80 or so 4x9 that I do each year.
My observations (not a research or study), I experienced increased vigor and a robust root system more than when I used myco/azos and fish.
For the rest of the collection in the summer its one of the ingredients I use in my weekly aerated compost.
