When buying at the big box stores...

One of these trees says Beers Black, the other Olympian....they are identical.
Not only that but it states on the tag it's cold hardy to -10f !!

They will say anything to sell some trees.

But this is the reason you have to be vigilant when buying or trading with people who have bought from them....some may think the tree is what the tag says, when it is wrong...so now those people will keep the trades or sale going.

My Olympian fruit didn't look like that tag. Mine wasn't purple it was bronze-y gold with a bit of faint of brownish striping on one of them and plain bronze -gold on some I think the lighting was different in both pictures I think the pic that was darker really was more gold than it appears

I try to remember to give my tree's provenance to the recipient when I trade cuttings or rooted cuttings. Of course, this only now accounts for two links in a chain of custody 1,000 links long....
