Just thrilled and wanted to share...my currants

I received cuttings of Red Lake and White Imperial , oh gosh probably 6 years ago. I rooted them, and as they grew,I put them in large pots, thinking we'd be moving faster than we've been able to. Then into bigger pots, and now basically huge pots.
The first year they have done this !!
I can't tell you how excited I am.
It feels like everything is budding and blooming early this year....and alot, for the first time.
Any advice on what to do to keep birds off them, if I'm lucky enough to get some fruit ?

They look great! To keep the birds off of my blueberry bushes I throw some bird netting over them. It's the only thing I've found that actually worked. I get the netting off of Amazon, lots of sizes to choose from. Good luck.

That is what I would suggest too, I'll be ordering some soon.
They can keep their icky turdy birdy feet to them selves.
