Teresa. I am sure you'll be all right, there isn't an actual fire in your immediate neighborhood, it's just a warning. I must have gone through 40 flash flood warnings in Los angeles, and Berkeley CA this year. Only one of them actually resulted in flash floods in my immediate neighborhood. But it did not actively affect me, or my property. Please keep us updated, but in my heart I know you're going to be all right.

Yes very dry.  We haven't had 1 drop of rain since hurricane Helen came a month ago.

You know Teresa, oddly enough we have been pretty darn dry here too.
Maybe a little after the storms but dry other than that.
Kinda nice actually.

I haven’t gotten any rain since at least September 15 when I planted grass seed in bare sections of lawn. The forecast is now calling for a deluge of 0.05” of rain Friday morning, then nothing again for 10+ days.

Same here in Houston.
It finally rained today following no rain for a month.
I now see several split figs on Raspberry Latte

Rain has been normal here but today was over 70F..... Supposed to be the same tomorrow. Picked some nice figs!
