[Kid Fig]

The Fig Beetles really hit this one this past Summer so I wasn't able to get a sample for the Fall but I found this one hanging right under a dried leaf.

Although it's past it juicy phase and started to dry while at the same time ripening during cooler temps it was still good.

It was sweet with a little tang and had a berry/tropical mix flavor to it.

Not bad for being subpar

Hehe - subpar as far as the quality it normally puts out.

First Season


"It was sweet with a great berry taste with some tartness as well as some "citrus-like" tang to it.

The skin was sweet as well and has somewhat of a CdDame texture to it (cross between slightly jammy and cakey?)."
