HELLO TO ALL FIG LOVERS,

Most of you have probally seen one or more of my post or have recieved messages from me on ourfigs.

At first i did not want to join another forum or fig group since i'm part of to many already, so i was just lurking here every now and then, but this forum is filled with so many amazing fig growers and so much knowledge is to gain and share here that i simply had to make an account and join.

My cutting season is well underway, and i'm hoping that the same goes for everyone in here, one picture of a set up with led battens, other set up is without the battens normally the room is very dark but i put on lights for a photo😁1000028281.jpg1000028283.jpg

Very nice collection! You have a few you do not hear much about.
Hope to see some fig pics in the coming years. :)
Thank you ill make sure to share the pictures once the varities start producing. If all succeed ill have around 200 varities then the real test begins to see if all are true to type.

Unfortunately atleast 40 are a high risk, i bought from someone that was supposed to be a trusted seller when listening to others on dutch fig groups but now a 7 varities have produced figs out of the 40 and, 4 out of the 7 varities were not true to type this season ill probally fruit the other 33 varities and know the damage🙈🙈

I have bought some in the past that turned out not to be the real thing.
One of them is a really good fig. I just have know idea what it is.

Same thing happend here, 2 of the 4 varities that dint match what i bought turned out to be my best adriatic fig also early ripening, and my earliest and sweetest honey fig so they will be trialed further😁

Really nice list, that's such a great collection!

I'm setting some time aside today to get some started.
Thank you i do believe this is the last year that ill expand the collection now its all about testing the varities and keep the once that perform well 😁

@NaturesFinest I have Kirilovo as well. I started it last season. Im really looking forward to ripening fruit this coming year. To have a variety that is. "Better then Michirinska 10 in all respects" says Pen. Should be a stand out winner for short season growers.
Yeah im very curious to find out myself, michurinska 10 is a top performer in my yard, handles the rain well, very winterhardy, massive production gives 2 rounds of figs inground, 3 rounds in pots with a head start and finish in GH and taste wise its pretty good. So now the question is what characteristics are better from kirilovo compared to m10, time will tell😁
