Introducing Mehdi's Famous Fig - Iranian Seedling from My Dad (Mehdi)

I recently posted a video on a fig my dad brought back from Iran 30 years ago. I've been growing this fig for about 15 years now but had to start over from the mother tree when we moved by growing it again from cuttings. The tree in the video is now 4 years old and holding about 20 breba. I'm in Oregon City, OR, zone 9A. It's a biferous common fig that has a really interesting honey/melon taste with this fresh grass undertone (even when ripe - it's not grassy from being underripe).

The video also shows a brief update on my double chip-grafted Irene's that I put on a DK rootstock.

If you like this video, I'd love a like and subscribe and share and whatever else the kids say nowadays.

Congratulations on all the rooted cuttings and grafts that have taken. Looks like you’ve been busy!
