I am starting to grow figs indoors. I got another grow light today. These are full spectrum LED lights. I can get a couple more lights and clear out more room for figs. I can add shelves for rooted cuttings. My plan is to grow a few of my 1st year fig trees indoors and also start propagating cuttings soon and grow them indoors until spring. I also have some late fig trees that have not started to ripen figs yet. We have a long season here but I saw that the weather report says it will be in the 70's in the day and lows will be in the 50's. I am wondering at what point will the figs ripen better indoors at a constant 68-70 F, than outdoors with the lows in the 50's. As it gets colder, when should I bring them in? Will they ripen outdoors when the highs are in the 60's and lows in the 40's?
