I bought icon a while back and it’s fruited nicely. Mine was lsu icon(improved Celeste) and it looks nothing like that. It’s actually an acronym for improved Celeste orourke not. I wonder if there is more than one variety with that name now.IMG_5505.jpeg

I can't figure out why it has that name. It looks nothing like IC or O'Rourke. Yours at least looks something like them.

Could be a mismarked tree. One like mine is the only one I’ve heard of. Looks like a nice fig either way so maybe just need to make another unk for us to chase after lol

My icon did get larger and darker but I guess I didn’t photograph anything but the first couple. They match exactly to the improved Celeste I have. Everything I can find online shows ICON and IC are the same fig just a name used to separate it from O’rourke. My bets are on a mislabeled tree.

I think there are three different versions of Improved Celeste. One version is the one @387PETE shows which is smaller, rounder and redder inside and out. The one @Bofig shows is a second version which is lighter inside and out and bell shaped. Also larger in the 45g range. The one @ChesapeakeFigs shows might be the third. It has that bell shape and sits midway between the first two I mentioned both in color (a mix of green and purple) and size.

The confusion comes in because people seem to use Improved Celeste and ICON interchangably. And then some people use the name LSU Improved Celeste.

That does clear things up somewhat. Here is what I have for Improved Celeste
