That is a pretty big tree to plant. And it has settled in nicely. It costs a bundle here to plant something that size. Neighbor took out one of the front trees that has been breaking sewage for a few years. HOA made them plant another one to replace it.

that’s why I would never live in a HOA development. The restrictions not to mention price of the fees.

That is kind of difficult around here. About 25% of houses don't have HOA fee(not the same as no HOA). The median HOA fee is around $60/month and can go up to $800/month depending on amenities (such as living right in the middle of a golf course. Not sure why you want to do that)

I actually just started volunteering with WildOnes on their lawyer divison. a huge focus of the team is to create town laws which forbid HOA from stopping you from planting natives and requiring trees coming down without independent arborist evals! Same with insurance.
