Word on the steeet is that Joe doesn't like sharing his cookies. All the other fig forum owners and websites give cookies to their users. But not Joe, he says we don't deserve cookies and I also heard from a friend he's going to create a ficus coin empire. Maybe he's hoarding all the cookies for himself to get nice and fat before he's King? #wheredacookys@Joe
 
Joking aside... we are all really lucky that Joe took the initiative to start a new fig forum that's not interested in our data, or our $. Operating a forum with no financial incentive is a long term commitment he made with huge responsibility and dedication required, and I know many are grateful for it now, and many more will reap the benefits in the coming years and decades.

This became a great forum very quickly. Many thank's to Joe for creating it. But also many thanks to the member's who help make it great.
Who without. We would have no forum. Let's hope we are still learning collecting and teaching for many years here. :)

I just made a batch of Joe’s cookies yesterday and they’re already disappearing.

Thanks @rnexus. And thank you all for helping make this possible. I can't take all the credit... or even most of it. It exists because of all of you who come on and participate and contribute with positivity and enthusiasm. I'm humbled.

Also, the fact is that this is not free to run. I'm a working man and I could not make this work alone... without generous donations from members. You know who you are and I appreciate you. Thank you!

Early on I considered selling cuttings and plants to fund the forum but decided that... while I love the excitement of fig auctions... I, personally need to be independent of that..... So maybe consider a ball cap or a t-shirt :LOL:

Seriously, I'm blessed! Everyone... Grow figs. Stay positive. Have fun!
