I've been saying all summer and early fall that I don't have any more room for any additional fig trees. My orchard is maxed out in its current layout, and I definitely prefer in ground trees to potted.

I've been confidently saying all summer and early fall that I won't get any new cuttings this fall/winter.

I had a wish list that I had started before I realized that I'm maxed out, based completely off of discussions that have occurred on this forum.

There was no doubt in my mind that I was not getting any new cuttings...

The "Underrated Varieties" thread got resurrected...

I just bought 31 cuttings on figbid...

Dammit... 🤣

I have space and all, but I decided I wasn’t going to get anything not on my wishlist this year. Fast forward to now… I have a Florea leafing out and multiple cuttings not on my w/l on the way. Fig math I guess.

We’ve got some pretty incredible Fig Fanatics here…. and I’ve seen a some pretty impressive collections. At times growers keeping loads of trees in limited space…. But I’ve never before seen anything like what @Nelson did here…. On the roof of the house! Wow!

Before he tells us…. Let’s try and guess how he gets them up there and back down …. What do you all think? I have no idea

bummed out i "won" a figbid cutting and it got canceled cause i guess i won it too low :'( i'll never get rating on this godforsaken website.

Clever... kinda crazy.... a bit scary... and very cool! :) I can't put pots on my roof as the pitch is a bit high... but I could put them on my shed... maybe... thanks for enabling me :LOL:

it might have been a reserve not met ! I'mnew to platform and desperately trying to find listings i can bid on at all to gain raining :) I think joe sent one in for me. I am but a tech illiterate snarf
