I saw a post about fig names pronunciation in the other forum and thought it is PSA to have it spread around. This is done by FigoTheCarpathian inviting 17 natives including Pons and Baud to pronounce the variety names. He encourages people to share it freely. There seems to be some debate on how Ischia should be pronounced.

I jumped around the file and Wow - that is a serious and awesome undertaking.

It sounds like Ischia is pronounced as “is-key-yah” in the link.

Interesting hearing the native pronunciations. I’d be shocked if any non-French speaker pronounces RdB correctly.
 
The link pronounced it as Is ki va. The editor wanted to contact the original recorder (who is a teacher teaching Italian) about it but she backed out of the project a month earlier after getting sick.

According to Slowpoke, there are a few ways to pronounce this but not with a V sound. Ischia (/ˈɪskiə/ ISK-ee-ə, Italian: [ˈiskja], Neapolitan: [ˈiʃkjə])
