Hail in SoCal- any worries?

Literally just hailed about 10 mins ago and was wondering if any possible cold damage could occur?

Not so much the leaves I'm worried about but more like the brebas and actually green wood.

The last pic is just so you know how much it hailed - its just raining now which is good.

We get hail sometimes on hot day's here.
If outside temp's are good. I am sure the trees will be fine.

That's a pretty good amount of hail!
We got hit with a huge storm cell early this morning that sounded like hail. I was too tired to get up and look.

Just got pelted here with it. That was a pretty good amount of marble sized hail for here!

I think you're in zero risk from the cold... Although... that's weird!

@BackwoodsSouthernLawyer had his leafed out trees go through this a few years back. The problem wasn't the cold. It was the hail tearing through all the leaves like bullets. If you didn't have your leaves torn apart you should be ok...

So weird though! How is it that cold there? It was warmer here today.

I'll be checking later this morning - I know the winds managed to snap off a branch (a potted tree fell down) and I still haven't gone outside to stand the tree up.

I do live next to San Bernardino and the mountains are roughly 15-20 miles away from my home.

Im.pretty sure they got alot of snow up there (Big Bear and surrounding mountain towns).

I grew up in SoCal, and I still spend a great deal of time in Los Angeles. While we don't get hail every winter, it's not really a uncommon event. I think your home Orchard will come through just fine.

I grow fig trees in two different locations in California. In Sunland California all fruit trees are planted in the ground. These were the first figs I planted, they are the oldest and they are doing fine. From that Orchard we can look up, and see the snow line in the mountains just above us. We often have snow on those mountains.
