I know for the longest time I heard and many of you as well, green Cuttings just aren't worth it. They won't root, they do very poorly if at all.

Wanted to share my experience rooting Green Cuttings taken a while back, sat in the refrigerator for about a month.. Maybe 5 weeks. Got them going...used sand, water, dip n grow, heat.

See the results :

You can get just about anything to root in a very high humidity environment. The trick is getting a viable growing plant out of it. With very green cuttings that success rate is usually less, especially if the green cuttings are less stiff

They don’t store forever but you can get a few weeks out of them. I think they actually root better if they are chilled for a few days. My thoughts are that the fresh cuts on green cuttings allow for room for rot because they can absorb too much water. I’ve been rooting my green tips and trading my better cuttings. I haven’t seen any difference in rooting success between them and lignified cuttings but I am only rooting green cuttings from my trees.

Idk about that.. These were sanitized and stored for at least a month in the fridge
There’s different types/levels of green cuttings. Some cuttings can be green and quite solid (almost semi lignified). Also there’s green growth at the very ends of the branches that will wilt very quickly and is bendy soon after being cut from the mother tree.
