Got my cuttings up potted today

This is the 2nd up potting and the last for awhile. I put them in 10 gal pots. Should get them through this season and the winter. Also got my improved Celeste in the ground. I bought 2bags of 2 cubic feet Coast Of Maine Bar Harbor blend from Ace Hardware for $19.99 each. Filled the 3 containers with half bag left over. Left to right Michael Grace Mystery, Stella, Marseille Black. Inground is Improved Celeste.

We now have 7 fig trees in ground and my husband doesn’t want more than that to wrap up for winter.

Ah, that makes sense. Winter protection for inground trees is a hassle, the further north you go. With more cold tolerant varieties, maybe they can handle the cold as they age?

Those trees are beautiful! ...and thank you so much for mentioning the soil and the source. I used to really like espoma, but this year, the bags I got were bad (full of sticks and repelling water). I switched to Happy Frog, but that stuff is so pricy. I'm going to ACE!

Happy Frog is a very popular brand especially from those in the ah “cannabis” hobby. . It should work really good for fig trees too.
