Got 2 trees planted

My obsession with continually transplanting and changing the garden layout continued today. I dug up several large Itoh Peonies and Helleborus from my Aunts place and transplanted into a reshaped garden bed.

That's awesome, I really want to get my Asian pear in ground last weekend but didn't.
Might still do it this coming weekend.

@"Figgerlickinggood"#7 @"ktrain"#2 My fellow figfanatic members. When you guys plant Asian pears or Jujubes Etc do you have Vole, gopher, or mole problems? Do you have to plant your new trees in cages? Also if you do employ cages do you make your own out of chicken wire or hardware cloth?

I don't want to jinx anything, but I have not had issues with any of those creatures.
I have seen a mole here...actually caught him.
But in an area where nothing was planted.

@"Tridrama"#52   I purchased it because I liked the description from this video.  This nursery is here in Virginia not far from me.  I also purchased the Li Jujube from them.[video=youtube]

@ Tridrama. Sorry I didn’t know it wasn’t able to share.  You have to go to YouTube and put this  title in the search.

Thanks. I'll look it up. Which fig varieties are considering planting in ground? I'm trying to narrow my ideas about this. I put LSU Tiger in ground this past spring. Hope to do a few more this winter.

@"Figless"#18 if they’re here in Virginia we haven’t seen any.

It depends on how many holes my husband feels capable of digging LOL.
