Golden riverside woke up EARLY

I'm shocked this thing woke up, it looked half dead at the end of summer so I gambled on putting it in ground- thought it was a goner. Right now night temps are in the 30°Fahrenheit range.

Gotta be the block wall behind it. It’s retaining heat from the day, keeping it warm at night.

I have one. All the big yellow figs are tough and do well in AZ for some reason

Interesting, It looks very good.
Hope it stays growing well, they're pretty fragile when waking up.

Nope 60s during the day and sunny here in AZ...we think that's cold, well out of polar vortex reach

I think your on to something if you wlk past the wall in the evening you can feel the heat on your arm as you walk past.
