Gnats

We've been getting quite a few gnats in the house. There's no fruit in the bowl in the kitchen so it's not fruit flies but it seems every time I go outside and come back in I'm very itchy on top of my feet and there's what looks like mosquito bites on them and on my arms. I told my husband I think they're outside and coming into the house. Well it turns out I was right, they are outside. Today I found these on the bottom side of many of the leaves of the hydrangea tree.

@superdave336 I have to say there’s more gnats on those leaves than there’s on the sticky paper on my gnat/fly trap with the blue light. Plugged it in last night and this morning only 5 gnats were on it. 🫩

What kind of gnats are those? Little bigger than I’m used to seeing. They look closer to mosquitoes to me.

I have no idea. All of them are dead and stuck to the leaves.
