...3 nice sized 3-4 year old trees past 2 years and all died over winter. He tried to overwinter them in his shed but we got some -20 degree days and I'm pretty sure that's what did them in. I told him to put them to the side and see if they regrow from the roots but I don't have much hope, the roots didn't look healthy. I might try to get him another one but I'll need to remind him to put it in the garage come winter.

I get sad when trees I grew and gave away die, anyone else feel the same?

Third time is the charm - at least with the trees I have given my brother.

This year they’re looking nice and healthy … so far.

Yeah Mick, I'm always checking up on them to see how they are doing.
And offering advice to keep them healthy.
That stinks, hope he heeds your warning next time.

Yea, it bothers me when one of my tree's, any of the tree's die.
