Yes, they’re 5-gallon grow bags. I originally thought I’d be moving these around my yard to deter pests, but I harvest them around the 4th of July before the figs ripen.

They freeze solid in the winter because they’re left out in the raised bed (not shed). I move them back out of the shed in October when I plant. They’re only in the shed from July to October.
Yeah my garlic is popping up too. I use the same trick to keep those darn squirls away, nothing worse that going to check on the garden and there are little holes dig with the bulbs laying there
I gotta get mine cut. Dreading it with the heat wave we are having at the moment.Despite the late start to the season, my garlic is growing like a champ.
