Florida betony

Stachys floridana - another invasive edible that produces very tasty roots. The leaves can also be eaten cooked. But I have yet to try them.
Anybody else growing this one?

My wife is the forager in the household and I am slowly beginning to head in that direction. Another invasive species is bamboo and no one (mostly non Asians) doesnt harvest the young and tender bamboo roots around spring time. It might not look like what everyone buys in a can at the grocery store, believe me, it tastes no different.
